Hair Removal by laser has become a cost-effective solution that
avoids the painful and tedious process of electrolysis, waxing, shaving or
plucking of the unwanted hair. With
advanced technology provided by the laser light, unwanted hair is a thing
of the past. The laser
targets the pigment located in hair follicles, burns the follicle and
thereby destroys it. The
laser pulses just long enough to vaporize the pigment, disabling several
follicles at a time to eliminate the hair’s re-growth.
The Light Sheer Diode is FDA approved for permanent hair reduction
and can be effective on all skin types.
Hair reduction is most effective on darker hair, because it has the
most pigment. The more pigment, the better target for the laser.

blonde, white or gray hair does not have any pigment, the laser is not
effective in removing them. Hair grows at different cycles so there is an
active, intermediate and resting phase. Only hair that is in the active
phase has a follicle that can be targeted.
Due to the different phases, it takes a series of treatments (3-6)
for best results. Facial,
neck, axilla, back, bikini, and leg hair can be effectively eliminated.
